Product Design (3D Modeling / CAD): Engineers design the heat shield using CAD, SolidWorks, and other 3D software, defining the thickness, curvature, mounting points, and overall geometry.

Mold Making / Tooling Production: Based on the 3D data, high-precision molds are produced. Customers may choose CNC-machined aluminum molds, high-temperature resin molds, steel molds, or tooling-board molds. The accuracy of the mold directly influences the final product quality.

Mold Preparation: The mold is thoroughly cleaned, polished, coated with release agents, and inspected to ensure there are no surface defects.

Carbon Fiber Cutting & Lay-Up: Using professional cutting equipment or laser cutters, T700/T800 carbon fiber prepreg is precisely cut according to structural analysis. Skilled technicians then hand-lay each layer at specific angles, optimizing rigidity and heat resistance through directional lamination.

Resin Infusion: The carbon layers are bonded either through resin infusion or by using high-performance prepreg materials, ensuring strong adhesion between fiber layers.

High-Pressure / Vacuum Molding: The part is cured using an autoclave or vacuum compression under controlled temperature and pressure, eliminating air bubbles and enhancing overall strength.

Demolding: After the curing cycle, the formed part is carefully removed from the mold and undergoes an initial inspection to confirm that no visible defects are present.

CNC Trimming: A 5-axis CNC machine performs precision trimming, milling, mounting holes, and refining contours to ensure perfect fitment across various motorcycle models.

Surface Finishing: A glossy or matte clear coat is applied, followed by detailed polishing to highlight the carbon fiber weave.

Final Quality Control (QC): The strict QC process evaluates dimensional accuracy, installation alignment, surface finish, heat resistance, and mechanical strength. Only fully qualified parts proceed to the packaging stage.

Installation Guide Of Carbon Heat Shield

Ensure the exhaust pipe is completely cooled. Clean the installation area to remove dust, oil, and residue for a better fit.

Cover the outside of the exhaust pipe with the carbon fiber heat shield, aligning it with the installation position. Ensure it does not contact moving parts and completely covers the high-temperature area.

Use the provided stainless steel clamps or bolts, depending on the product configuration. Tighten evenly and gradually from both sides, avoiding localized pressure on the carbon fiber surface.

Check that the heat shield is tightly fitted and securely fixed to the exhaust pipe, ensuring there is no looseness or vibration. If necessary, make final torque adjustments.

Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes to confirm that the heat shield remains stable under thermal expansion and does not directly contact the exhaust pipe.
